Loving Lately

Life has been hectic lately (Can you say “lately” when it feels like it’s been like this for years?), but I’ve had some time recently to find a few new favorites for our home and my closet, and what better day than a Friday to sit down and scroll through pretty things?

Without further adieu, here are some of the items I’m loving lately.

H & M | $39.99 (affiliate link)

First up, these jeans. A quality pair of non-stretchy denim for under $40? Sign me up! I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of go-to jeans for a while now, and this pair delivers. I love them so much I actually bought two pairs (one in my regular size, and one a size up for a more slouchy look). They’ve both been on a heavy rotation since they arrived in the mail!

Next, we have a local pick – a new boutique Apricot Lane in Orchard Park. I visited the store a few weeks ago with Buffalo Moms and I’m loving all the looks I came away with. This sweater in particular is the perfect layer for chilly fall days.

Onto a couple highlights for the home. I’m having a moment with pampas grasses and searched high and low online for the perfect faux stems. A trip to JoAnn Fabrics delivered with these beauties on display in our built-in shelves. I walked out with two bunches of them and cut them down to size. (They’re originally super tall which would be amazing for a floor vase or front porch display – I might just have to go back for more!)

Other items I’m loving for simple fall decor: twinkle lights on white pumpkins, and these colorful gourds I picked up from Walmart for $5/bag!

I’m constantly searching for inspiration on Instagram and find it on the regular from @ChrisLovesJulia. Their home decor is a refreshing change of pace from the stark white style that typically dominates my feed. I love their choices of moody wall colors and following their home renovation progress is weirdly satisfying.

Another favorite account that makes me want to tackle a DIY ASAP is @angelarosehome. She shares simple projects that make a huge difference in the appearance of rooms and ways to repurpose everyday items. My favorite lately has been this Ikea dresser hack that she completed in two days for under $200!
