Gloomy Day Adventures with Totes

After what has felt like an endless summer of 80º+ weather, we’ve all been very much enjoying this recent drop in temperatures in Western New York. Chilly days and fall scented candles 4E! (Yes, I give you complete permission to redirect me to this post in January when I’m complaining about winter.)

Both kids are in school five days a week this year, which has been an adjustment to say the least. Our schedules are filling up faster than ever and I’m constantly being reminded that these days are fleeting. I’ve officially made it a goal for this school year to make as many small memories as we can – whether it’s stopping at the grocery store for a special treat or sneaking out for an impromptu day date together. So when the temperatures dropped below 60º recently, we decided to give cozy sweater weather the welcome it deserves. We threw on our new favorite boots, brewed some cocoa and coffee, and ventured outside to explore!

Even though it was on the chilly side, our feet were comfy cozy (and dry) thanks to our Totes Cirrus Rainboots with Everywear™ technology. You heard it here first: these fashion-friendly boots are going to be my go-to for gloomy days. They’re affordable, completely waterproof, and durable – not to mention insanely comfortable. As an added bonus, the lightweight design makes them super easy for your kiddos to walk in, which means there will be no tripping or trudging like in other clunky rain boot styles.

After we sipped our hot beverages, we put our boots to the ultimate test by strolling through the back yard in search of wildflowers, “treasures,” and – of course – puddles to jump in!
