Cuddling Up In Full Hibernation Mode

–AKA– the realities of taking blog photos with an 11 week old puppy!

With the holidays behind us and the reality of back to school and work hitting hard this week, I’ve been craving quiet, cozy time at home. Winters in Western New York have a way of making you want to hibernate away until the weather warms up – or at least until temperatures reach the double digits. With the exception of taking the kids to and from school, most of my days are spent making any excuse possible to stay warm inside. Give me hot coffee, a spice-scented candle, and cozy clothes forever and ever, amen.

My husband jokes with me every time I come home with another pair of black leggings, but I just can’t help myself! While I’m usually a firm believer that leggings aren’t pants, anything goes for the sake of staying warm. These fleece-lined leggings from Cuddl Duds are amazingly comfortable and the coordinating long-sleeved shirt will come in handy for layering in these negative degree wind chills we’ve been experiencing in Buffalo. In the winter months, I typically wear my leggings with a pair of cozy socks and an oversized sweater during the day while I work from home, then bundle up with boots and a parka to get the kids from school.

Cuddl Duds items have more to offer than basic leggings. They’re also perfect for multi-functional wear. Layer them under snow clothes for playing outside with the kiddos, wear a pair of their soft velvety pajamas for a long winters nap, or grab this outfit like I did for everyday cozy comfort!

No matter what you choose, Cuddl Duds are available at your local Walmart for right around $10 a piece. Bundle up and buy some today so you can join me in full-on hibernation mode later! Cheers!
