On Saturday, we celebrated Huck’s 1st birthday with a “hearty lumberjack brunch,” perfectly fitting for our rough and tough little man.
We started up a bonfire, prepped with homemade spiced crock-pot apple cider and hot coffee, ordered a few breakfast pizzas, and celebrated in the beautiful chilly fall weather with our closest family and friends.
The kids all had a blast painting pumpkins and playing on the swing-set, getting ridiculously sandy in the sandbox, and playing with Huck’s new toys (which included lots of trucks, his favorite thing these days)! The food was delicious, the weather was gorgeous, and as always, it was a wonderful day surrounded by those we love the most and who love our Huckles so well.
THANK YOU to everyone who came to celebrate with us! I still can’t believe my baby boy is ONE!
(Tablecloths and high chair banner are from Target; cake and smash cake made by Sinfully Sweet; invitation by Taylor Meehan; centerpiece “campfires” are a fun DIY craft that we also used for Huck’s sprinkle last August!)
